How about a holiday in a friendly large 19th century house with all facilities
in a quiet neighbourhood, near the beach and within walking distance from
the centre of governmental city The Hague? The Hague has everything for everyone…but
if you want more than that. Amsterdam, Delft, Rotterdam and other interesting
cities are nearby
We are 2 adults and 2 children. My husband
is director of a foundation and I am a PR-officier. We do not smoke and have
a nice cat who prefers to stay at home.
We would like to spend our summer holiday this year in an attractive, sunny
and quiet surroundings, during two or three weeks and preferably in the period
from the end of July to the end of August. We consider to travel by train.
If possible, we would like to use a car on location. Of course you can make
use of our own car in case of car exchange.
Our house
was built in 1880 and is located between the International Peace Palace and
the queen work-palace in the Hague. It's an old family home. It has 4 floors
with 6 (large) rooms from which 3-4 bedrooms, 1-2 living-room(s), a large
modern kitchen and all facilities
The garden is sunny, enough space for
children. We have friendly neighbours.
The neighbourhood is
nice with all kind of shopping and public transport nearby. There are bikes
which you can use
The Hague is located on the North
Sea with its sandy beaches and dunes. Our town has 31 museums, 27 theatres,
4 palaces, a great deal of shops, historic sites and many other attractions.
It's the goverment city of the Netherlands and also the residence of our queen
Beatrix. The centre is on walking distance, some 15 minutes. The Hague is
by train one hour from Amsterdam and Utrecht, half an hour from Rotterdam
and fifteen minutes from Delft.
